Do you know that you're a spiritual being that's having a human experience? All of you. All of you are spiritual beings at the core. And we have two sides to our mind to work with, our spiritual side, as well as our human side, because here we've been born into a physical body to learn lessons here on earth. We needed a mind that would be able to function in this environment that we live in here. So I want to look at the differences between the rational mind and the intuitive mind and how they work together.
The Rational Mind
On our human side, we've been given the gift of a rational mind, our linear, intellectual, left-brain. And it was created to work through the senses, which makes a lot of sense in the environment that we live in. It has access to the knowledge that man has discovered. And it works within a timeline of past, present, and future. Our cultural training has trained us well to use the rational mind and has trained us to look outside of ourselves, for books, teachers, videos, and digital information, to find out what it is we need to know.
